TTCU announces Sand Springs branch
TTCU Federal Credit Union closed on land on Feb. 27 to construct a new branch in Sand Springs. The property is located in the River West development near the intersection of Main St. and Morrow Rd. The branch is tentatively slated to open in 2020.
"We are excited to design a modern, innovative branch to serve the needs of the Sand Springs community," President and CEO Tim Lyons said. "We have received numerous requests over the years for TTCU to have a physical location in Sand Springs. This will allow us to better serve our nearly 7,000 members who are already in the area, and bring access to our services to a greater segment of the Sand Springs population."
TTCU Federal Credit Union has been active in the Sand Springs community for years. Since 2007, TTCU Federal Credit Union had partnered with the Sand Springs school district. Through TTCU's School Pride® Visa Debit Card program, $28,000 has been contributed to Sand Springs Public School District. TTCU also provides support to the school district through numerous athletic sponsorships.
"We are pleased to welcome TTCU Federal Credit Union to the Sand Springs community," Sand Springs Mayor Mike Burdge said. "They will be an asset to our city, and we're excited for the new jobs they will bring and economic development potential. They have been very supportive of our schools over the years."
The Sand Springs branch will be TTCU's 18th branch. TTCU currently operates 16 branches. Another branch, currently under construction, is expected to open in Oklahoma City later this year.
