TTCU Federal Credit Union is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Project School Supplies, a milestone that marks a quarter century of helping local students start the school year with confidence. The annual campaign, which runs through August 14, collects new school supplies and monetary donations at all TTCU branches across northeastern and central Oklahoma.
Since its inception, Project School Supplies has helped generations of Oklahoma students begin the school year with confidence by providing essential classroom supplies to families facing financial hardship. As back-to-school expenses continue to strain household budgets, the need for community support remains as important as ever.
"Project School Supplies reflects who we are as an organization," said TTCU President and CEO Shelby Beil. "For 25 years, our members, employees and community partners have come together to support local students and teachers. Because TTCU was founded by educators, investing in education has always been part of our mission, and we're proud to continue that tradition."
Donations collected in the Tulsa area will benefit Restore Hope Ministries, while additional community partners include the OKC Public School Foundation, Tahlequah Public Schools, Bixby Outreach Center, Owasso Community Resources, Caring Community Friends in Sapulpa, Charles Page Family Village in Sand Springs, Teacher Toolbox in Miami and Fostering Mayes County.
Community members can support Project School Supplies by donating new school supplies or making a monetary contribution at any TTCU branch through August 14. Every donation helps ensure local students have the resources they need for a successful school year.
