TTCU has a new official name – TTCU Federal Credit Union. In March, TTCU members voted to change from a state chartered credit union to a federally chartered credit union. The federal charter requires TTCU to include federal credit union in our name.
With the change, TTCU will experience tax savings as well as streamlined regulatory processes, which will allow us to better serve our members. But we’re still the same TTCU members know and trust. Accounts won’t change and members can use existing share drafts, credit cards and debit cards. When it’s time for new cards and checks, the new items will bear TTCU’s new name.
Over the coming months, you’ll see TTCU Federal Credit Union begin appearing in our branches, on stationery, on ttcu.com and other places around the community.
We appreciate every member who exercised their credit union right to vote and participate in this important decision.
